For those who do not know about YouWeCan. YouWeCan is a foundation established by Indian cricketer Yuvraj Singh meant to fight Cancer by spreading awareness about the fatal disease. Yuvraj Singh himself was diagnosed with Cancer and defeated the disease after a long treatment in the United States of America in September 2012.


To support this Nobel Cause Satinder Sartaaj will be performing Live in MUMBAI.

Cricketer Yuvraj Singh, who underwent treatment for cancer in the United States, recently returned to India after three months.He underwent chemotherapy at a hospital in Indianapolis. Doctors say Yuvraj, 30, is expected to make a full recovery and resume his cricket career.

Today He met Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal. CM offered to allot 20 acres of land near Chandigarh to star cricketer Yuvraj Singh for setting up of a world-class sports academy.



The offer was made when Yuvraj and his mother Shabnam Singh called on the Chief Minister at his residence. Badal enquired about Yuvraj’s well-being and wished him speedy recovery.

In 2008, the Haryana Government had given 23 acres of land near Jhajjar on lease to star cricketer Virender Sehwag for setting up a cricket academy and an international school.

Badal appreciated the proposal put forth by Yuvraj to establish a state-of-the-art sports academy near Chandigarh to impart training to budding players in cricket, hockey, golf and tennis. The Chief Minister asked his Principal Secretary to finalise modalities for the allotment of the requisite land.

The Chief Minister apprised Yuvraj of the state already having set up a sports school at Ghudha in Bathinda district to impart quality education and sports training to the youth to enable them to exhibit their talent in national and international tournaments.

The cancer afflicting India cricketer Yuvraj Singh is curable, one of his doctors says, and the player could be back on the field by May.
Tests had revealed Yuvraj was suffering from a rare form of cancer called mediastinal seminoma and he is now undergoing chemotherapy in the US. But His father has revealed some ignorance from Yuvraj Singh and his doctor for not doing early treatment.
