- 25% of the total samples Of Kabaddi Players received at the National Dope Testing Laboratory (NDTL) were Positive.
- Australia, United States and the UK teams were suspended from Kabaddi World Cup 2011 due to players found positive in doping test. Again players in these teams are from Punjab origin
- 53 out of 220 were found positive in doping test.
